Stainless steel is the name of a group of steel that has corrosion resistance. (Stainless steel) with a mix of at least 10.5% chrome, which will create a thin film to resist corrosion and will create a new film by itself If the surface of the film is scratched and destroyed, other elements such as nickel, molybdenum, titanium are added to increase corrosion resistance or adjust the desired mechanical properties which has more details about special properties of stainless steel as follows

All stainless steels are resistant to corrosion. But it will vary according to the mixture of metals such as grades that are not high alloy, able to resist corrosion in general atmosphere while the grades with high alloys can resist corrosion in most acids, alkalis, atmospheric chlorides
